Lipari is known for some of its beautiful beaches and the best way to get a panoramic view of this island is to take a tour using any means such as a car, bicycle or scooter. Canneto, Papesca, Acquacalda and Porticello are some of the best beaches on the island. Along the northern coast pumice and obsidian caves can be glimpsed. You may also be able to see the landing bridge that was used to transport mined minerals via ships, when mining was still a major activity in the area.

Papesca is a pretty beach where you can still find the remains of the mining activity, together with the presence of pumice. Spiaggia Bianca is a white beach located north of Canneto, blessed with an enchanting turquoise sea.

Going towards Acquacalda, you can find Rocche Rosse and see lava formations of different shapes and sizes.
