AEOLIAN MUSEUM ISLAND OF LIPARI

Located in the castle complex overlooking the island of Lipari, the Aeolian Museum houses numerous artifacts recovered during the excavations conducted in the territory of the Aeolian Islands by archaeologists Luigi Bernabo Brea and Madeleine Cavalier in the 1950s.

About 40 rooms to see objects from all the history of this area. After inspecting the amphorae, ancient pottery, jewellery, anchors and other archaeological finds, step outside to enjoy the view from the castle.

The museum is divided into five different sections, with artifacts dating back to the Neolithic age.
